    Willamette Week polls the pros in the local music business for a list of the best up-and-coming Portland bands. We publish the results and gather the top picks to perform a concert at Mississippi Studios.

    This is the “Academy Awards for Oregon Beer”. This year, the Oregon Beer Awards celebrates 10 years of awarding the state's best beers in 25 categories, and honors breweries, bars and leaders in the industry in additional categories. The beer industry gathers to celebrate winners at a festive awards ceremony at Revolution Hall.

    NestFest is a new event brought to you by Willamette Week, House of Commons (behind Portland Bazaar and Roux), key small business owners in the design space.

    NestFest will bring WW’s annual Nester Magazine to to life by gathering the local designers, makers, small businesses featured in the magazine to the event, as well as the Portland residents featured who are defining Portland’s unique “nesting” style.

    The goal of Nester and NestFest is to inspire Portlanders to think creatively about their homes, get new ideas, connect with other design minded “Nesters”, and get out to meet and shop with the amazing artists, makers, and curators making their city a creative destination.
